there should be a "ranger" rank with /fly so we dont have to make 1x1 towers there should also be a /kit ranger with 32 planks, cobble, wool, glass and some seeds with a 1hour cool down. just a suggestion
Well, we're " Mods without the powers" and giving us abilities others have to pay for seems off ( Flying ).
It'll make more people want to become a Ranger than Donating to get the power and the problem with setting powers is that we can't trust everyone with them. The Ranger rank also isn't needed for we exist as community members, inspiring others to be like us and wish to become one of us.
Also, if I remember correctly, we had a discusion about powers in an older thread.
I think that a perk like flying shouldn't be given to Rangers, as like American said others have to donate, and 1x1 towers are no problem. However, I think oto's idea of /kit ranger with some basic de-griefing materials isn't a bad idea, considering that the items in the kit are limited items and there is a suitable cool down period. While some might say that these items (in the kit) are easy to get items, sometimes when someone is griefed you need to respond quickly. Also, a kit like the on oto suggests is hardly going to be a motive for people to be Rangers so they can abuse their powers...This is just my opinion.
We don't need a /kit ranger. We have a vault with a large chest full of all sorts of materials and tools to help us de-grief. Thing is only the Head-Rangers have access to the vault, but if you need some basic materials for a de-grief just ask on of the Head-Rangers and we can get it for you and help you out. Also what AmericanCritic said, if we had /fly no one would donate and we did have an older thread talking about what Ototoxic is brining up.
